Arnica CBD, the breakdown

Updated: Nov 9, 2020

So if you are like me and you drive around town, you see shop after shop that says CBD and you start to wonder what all the hype is! I was really intrigued by it and wanted to find out more. I thought CBD was marijuana or something to that effect! But most CBD products actually don't contain any THC at all!

I sat down with local shop owner of Joyous Green to find out what CBD really means. This is what he told me "Cannabidiol (commonly referred to as CBD) is incredibly popular these days, with new shops and brands popping up often. But not all CBD is created equal. Some products on the market have been found to contain little to no CBD, and this is why consumers should make sure that the company they are buying from provides COAs (Certificate of Analysis) for the product. This will show not only the amount of cannabinoids in the product are what they claim to be, but also that it doesn't contain harmful chemicals, heavy metals, or pesticides. CBD is one of 113 cannabinoids found in cannabis plants ( here are a few links to a list of major cannabinoids and what they may be able to do for health and wellness).

No matter what some people may say CBD is not a magic bullet and it isn't going to cure all of your problems. In fact, it hasn't shown to "cure" anything. It is wonderful as a daily supplement for those who need help with stress, anxiety, inflammation, and other issues, but as with anything it is necessary to use it in moderation and understand the effects of it before you start taking it.

Also, there are few known drug interactions, but if you are on prescription medicine it is smart to check with your doctor about any possible problems CBD could cause to you prescription drugs. This is true with every supplement and herb... don't just listen to advice from someone on the internet. Make sure you talk with your doctor. :)

Joyous Green sources its CBD from major manufacturers and double checks the COA for each new batch to make sure that the product maintains the quality we demand." owner of Joyous Green.

I have been using the Arnica CBD Pain Reliever, it is handmade in small batches and hand-poured. It contains zero THC. This product also contains 11 essential oils that promote pain relief outside of the CBD (Arnica Montana) and healthy skin. It has been such a huge help with my neck pain. Instead of taking ibuprofen, which I do not like to do, I have been using this roll-on instead. It helps ease the pain. I have also used it on my knees after running and it helps calm the achiness. I love that I have a more natural approach to pain relief and inflammation.

Here are the ingredients in the Arnica CBD roller ball blend: Fractionated Coconut Oil, Arnica Montana infused in Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel and Grapeseed Carrier Oils, Black Pepper, Sweet Orange, Lavender (Augustifolia), Rosemary, Chamomile Blue, Bayleaf, Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Helichrysum and Copaiba Essential Oils, and 99.9% Pure Cannabidiol (CBD) Isolate and Broad-Spectrum Cannabidiol (CBD) Oil from Hemp.

I was glad to have a better understanding of what CBD meant and the positive uses for it. If you would like to purchase the Arnica CBD roll-on blend, use code mandysteven to get 10% off!
