Boy, coming off a holiday weekend is not fun, I did not want to get up this morning!! Next Tuesday, I will be at Von Maur for a Laura Mercier event! I have been working for Laura Mercier for over ten years. She is the master in complexion products and applictaion techniques.
She introduced the first ever tinted moisturizer, she made it popular here in the US. Laura is also known for the "flawless face" Her makeup is meant to look like skin and to be worn so you can't feel it. Primer was also first introduced by Laura Mercier. Her message is "less is more" and that is something I have gone by for a very long time in my makeup, fashion and home. So working for Laura Mercier was a given to me, we believe in the same things. Makeup is to be used to enhance, not used as a mask.
Translucent Loose Setting Powder is in every makeup artists' kit. It is the world's number 1 selling powder. It melts into skin, sets makeup all day and doesn't give any flashback in pictures. The only foundations I wear are by Laura Mercier, she caters to sensitive skin, which is what I have. I was always intimidated by foundations, I was scared to wear them. It felt like wearing one was the next step to getting OLD!! But man, once I tried her foundation and after having kids and acne problems, I wasn't afraid anymore. I was relieved!!! My skin looked seemless, polished. I LOVED IT:) Luckily, I only have to use a little when I work and during the week I just wear tinted moisturizer.
